Terms of Use
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms govern your use of globalmarketreview.com and anything we publish through it, including the newsletter. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
1. What this site is
Global Market Review publishes analysis of publicly available economic data from third-party sources. Rankings, changes and other derived figures are our own analysis of that data, not the providers’.
2. What the site is for
We publish this site for information, education, journalism and research. Its purpose is visibility: showing what published economic data says, and how economies compare. It is a starting point for your own reading and your own work, not a substitute for the source data and not a system of record.
It is not supplied for operational, trading, accounting, compliance or regulatory use, and you should not use it for any of those purposes. Figures can be wrong, and checking any figure against its original source before you act on it, repeat it or publish it is your responsibility.
3. Not advice
Everything here is general information. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Any decision you take is yours alone, and you should take professional advice before acting.
4. No warranty on the data
The site is provided as is and as available. Economic data is frequently revised, delayed, incomplete or withdrawn by the organisations that publish it, and errors can arise in our own processing of it. We do not warrant that anything here is accurate, complete or current, we do not undertake to reflect later revisions, and we may correct, change or remove anything at any time without notice.
5. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue the site, the newsletter, or any report or feature, at any time and without notice or liability to you.
6. What you may and may not do
You may read the site, share it, and quote from it with clear attribution and a link back. You may not:
- scrape, harvest or bulk extract the site or the files behind it;
- republish our reports or data as a dataset, feed or competing product;
- use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the service;
- remove or obscure attribution, or present our analysis as the source providers’ own;
- use the site unlawfully, or to breach anyone’s rights.
7. Third party data
Source data remains the property of the organisations that publish it and is subject to their own licences and terms. If you use that data yourself, complying with those terms is your responsibility.
8. Our content
The site, including its text, design, reports, analysis and code, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other rights. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
9. The newsletter and accounts
Use only an email address you are entitled to use. You can unsubscribe at any time. We may remove any subscriber or account, or stop the newsletter, at any time.
10. Paid services
If we offer paid content or subscriptions, we may set and change prices, inclusions and billing terms. Fees are payable in advance and are not refundable except where the law requires it. We may suspend or end access for non-payment or for breach of these terms.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or the newsletter. That includes trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether or not we were told such loss was possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
13. Other sites
We may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page and applies from the date it is posted. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and the courts of the United Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
